How globalization is changing digital technology adoption: An international perspective

This paper examines how globalization influences the adoption of digital technologies. The purpose is to explain affects new technology adoptions. We use country-level data from index (KOF), (DAI), global competitiveness (GDI), and total factor productivity (TFP) on 183 countries using advanced panel modeling. Empirical findings show can significantly affect in all countries. study's positively transfers spillovers; here, technology. Countries undergoing significant technological changes achieve ever-growing convergence. In our study, evidence comes an international perspective, with extensive sample that about 80 percent transfer process.
